This varietal traces back to an old Typica lineage discovered deep within the forests of Indonesia, known for expressing characteristics similar to Gesha. In Thailand, it is referred to as SCATH01, which stands for Specialty Coffee Association Thailand 01. It is a delicate and challenging varietal to grow, requiring great care and attention from farmers, but when nurtured well, it often reveals elegant floral notes such as jasmine and soft white florals in the cup.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI had the chance to meet Jaroon after the COVID 19 pandemic, and getting to know him has truly been a blessing.
