From producer Samuel Smith Perez we're excited to add Caminos del Inka gesha to our menu. We had a fun opportunity to taste this coffee with the vendor at the World of Coffee expo back in April, and now we're excited to offer it to everyone. Monthly Subscribers got this coffee (at the best price) in their monthly shipments just a couple weeks ago. Caminos is a ripe mix of peach and orange with a lovely creaminess, as well as a hint of coffee cherry.
After selective harvesting of only ripe cherries, the coffee underwent open-tank fermentation for 48 hours. Then it was washed, drained, and dried on raised African beds for 15-20 days.
Process: Anaerobic Washed
Region: Cusco, Peru
Variety: Gesha
