El Espejo was one our favorite Colombian geshas from the 2024 winter harvest, and now we are blessed with this fresh 2025 harvest from a neighboring farm of the same name. Same as the first crop, this Espejo II first went to our monthly subscribers, receiving rave reviews. This coffee is replete with ripe flavors of plum and apple, tied together with crisp acidity and beautiful florals.
Yerly Marcela Morales manages this farm in the Planadas region of Tolima, Colombia, having moved there with her family just four years ago. She's pouring many resources into improving her two-hectare plot dedicated to growing coffee, and the results are spectacular. With technical guidance from partners InConexus, Yerly has produced a truly wonderful, clean, Colombian gesha.
This gesha was processed simply, with a brief 24-hour fermentation, subsequent washing, and 15-20 days of drying.
Process: Washed
Region: Tolima, Colombia
Variety: Gesha
