Finca San Antonio can't quit! This latest gesha is another knockout from a farm we've come to admire greatly. They surprised us with their caturra/colombia lot, and their Tropical Silk gesha was a hit as well. We love this coffee's flavors of peach, orange marmalade, and beautiful florals.
The Lopez family and their farm have a long history of winning the Colombian Cup of Excellence. Now several generations on, the farm is still producing consistently delicious coffees. The farm is split into several sub-plots, and this particular coffee was under the care of Nilson Lopez. After picking only ripe cherries, the coffee was density sorted, pulped, and fermented for 36 hours (aerobically, not anaerobically). The coffee was then washed and shade dried for 18-22 days.
Process: Washed
Region: Nariño, Colombia
Varieties: Gesha
