This is the very last of this coffee, and we've priced it to move! Still cupping great :)
Wilder Lazo is back! Named after his farm Bella Alejandría, we think this gorgeous geisha is classic coffee done right. We love the beautiful, soft rose & jasmine florality coupled with hibiscus and a hint of fennel flavor. With the acid a bit restrained, this coffee is supremely balanced and brings a great deal of plumpness and depth.
Bella Alejandría coffees are special. Wilder tasted through his farm tree by tree, selecting only the most floral coffees and growing seedlings from those trees. After repeating this process numerous times, he "purified" this geisha tree stock, and the result is the "pura genética" moniker.
This coffee was harvested in late June 2025 and brought to us via Desarrolladores de Cafe. The cherries were pulped and anaerobically fermented in mucilage for just 36 hours. After washing, the coffee dried on raised beds for 12 days. With this minimal fermentation time, and Wilder's controlled techniques, you'll find no processy flavors here.
Process: Anaerobic washed
Region: Huila, Colombia
Variety: Geisha
