ABOUT THIS COFFEE AND PRODUCER
Corral Pampa is situated at the foot of the sacred and spiritually significant mountain APU Choqesafra. This region is made of volcanic soil that is rich in nutrients and organic matter which contribute to the high quality coffee grown on the farm. Corral Pampa preserves rich, native tree species and wild bird ecology, utilizing the vegetation to naturally provide shade to the coffee trees. This traditionally washed SL9 is a showcase of the unique terroir that Corral Pampa’s farmers have worked to achieve over generations of growing coffee.
WHY WE SELECTED THIS COFFEE
We're excited to share our first SL9 release in the Fruit Forward category. This lot comes from Corral Pampa, another standout producer recognized in this past year's Cup of Excellence.
The cup opens with a sweet peach character that feels immediate and clear. Citrus moves in and out of the profile, bringing brightness and structure without overwhelming the stonefruit. As the coffee cools, a lingering tropical sweetness becomes more apparent, reminding us of the soft white flesh of a rambutan.
Rosewater florals are present throughout, adding a gentle aromatic quality that ties everything together. It's a coffee that feels expressive without being loud, revealing a different side of SL9 through layered fruit, florals, and a lasting sweetness.
