This washed field blend from La Muralla, a community lot in San Agustín, Huila, Colombia, is a balance of complex florals, sweetness, and gentle key lime-forward acidity. The cup opens with a bright Pink Starburst sweetness, before shifting into the more delicate floral & herbal clarity found commonly in Gesha varietals, giving us soft rose petals and a cooling herbal note on the tongue, and finishes with a well rounded and sweet acidity. There is some funk present in the cup, but it compliments the coffee well and can be described as "candy" rather than fermentation.
This is a blend of Pink Bourbon, V. Colombia, Castillo, and Gesha, cultivated at high elevation in the volcanic soils around San Agustín. We’re excited to share this coffee with you.
Funk: 1.5/5
