A lot originally labelled as just 'Bourbon' by Louis originally wowed us at the cupping table with its bright zingy acidity and juiciness. Further genetic testing has shown that this varietal , labelled as Fragancia by Lareb is a cross between Sidra and Catimor. It seems to have retained the punchiness and interesting profile of the former without it preserving the 'onion' character it has become infamous for, atleast in our experience with this coffee.
