A special collab with Brian Quan, this Washed Purple Caturra Yunnan, from the Slope Coffee Estate in Yunnan China, was rehydrated with (your choice) of green tea and black tea concentrate. A good candidate for rehydration, we decided to have a little fun with this coffee, and to our surprise, the tea notes shine through in the cup in a subtle but very pleasant way. Outside of the tea of choice, we taste delicate florals and a gentle citrus acidity.
We are using dehydrated green tea and black tea powder, which is used to create a concentrate of 2g of tea powder to 35g of water. This is then mixed in with 700g of the frozen green coffee, which is let to rest and absorb the concentrate for 24 hours in a refrigerated space.
This coffee is sold in 50g bags, and we have a few variants to pick from: either the "bundle" which includes two packets of boba for your enjoyment (limited quantities available!), the bundle without the boba which includes one of each coffee, or the individual respective rehydrations.
