Moxie Coffee Co. is a micro roastery and bakery in Phoenix, Arizona, started to share a love for uncommon coffee. The team sources rare coffees that excite them, highlights the story and journey of the producers behind those lots, and goes looking for novel processing and fermentation methods — then shares all of it with their community in Phoenix and beyond.

The roasting follows from that. Moxie starts with only the highest quality coffee and roasts it relatively light, so the bright, sweet qualities that already exist in the beans are what come through in the cup. The goal is simply to work in tandem with their producing partners to highlight the characteristics that make each coffee distinct and memorable.

Phoenix is home, and the community side of that is deliberate: Moxie’s Parking Lot Parties bring people together in their shaded parking garage to share food, shop for arts, crafts and vintage, and escape the heat.
